Fernando Thadepalli, MD
Dr. Thadepalli then completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1999, and his Internship and Residency Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 2002. In 2012, he was peer nominated for the Fellowship of the American College of Physicians for Internal Medicine. He has worked in hospital medicine caring for critically ill inpatients for 20 years, as well as a primary care physician in Adult Internal Medicine. He also has special training in Geriatric/Gerontology from UCLA caring for aging persons.
Dr. Thadepalli became a General Internist as it allows him a pure service opportunity to care for the whole person, from general physical, mental to spiritual wellness. The remedy does not always lie in pharmacology or surgery but rather with a deeper understanding of the human experience and by approaching issues with care and a good ear. Medicine continues to be a service area that provides him instant gratification in caring and interacting with patients. Words of wisdom that he would share with patients are: be kind to your body, gentle with your mind, and patient with your heart. Getting older is a new stage of opportunity and strength rather than always seeing it as a “lost youth”.
Dr. Thadepalli is a West Coast native and has been living and loving the front range since 2018. He is a world traveler, and Eagle Scout, and when he’s not working he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and four children.
