Rubi Rakel, NP, AGACNP-BC

Rubi Rakel is a board-certified adult-gerontological acute care nurse practitioner with nearly thirteen years of experience in healthcare. Rubi received both her Bachelor and Master of Science in nursing from the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to joining Summit Medical Consultants, she worked in a variety of settings including acute hospital care, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities, and long-term care. Rubi enjoys working with her patients on creating an individualized plan of care.

Although born and raised in Texas, Rubi has spent most of her life in Colorado. In her free time, Rubi enjoys spending time with her husband, two dogs, and extended family. Her interests include reading, weightlifting, and high-intensity cardio exercising.
