Pradeep Patel, MD, MPH

Vice President

Dr. Pradeep Patel completed his MBBS at Kasturba Medical College/Manipal University in Mangalore/Kamataka/India in 2003. From 2005 to 2007, he completed his Master in Public Health at East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, TN and Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, KY. In 2010, Dr. Patel completed his MD (Family Medicine Residency) at UAB Medicine Huntsville in Huntsville, AL.

Dr. Patel is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, Rotary Club International, and the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians.
Over the past two years, he has gained extensive experience as a Physician in the Post-Acute and Long-Term Care, and Assisted and Independent Living settings, covering over 40 facilities as a Provider with Summit Medical Consultants in Colorado over the course of a year.

Currently, he serves as the Medical Director for two facilities in North Carolina, where he oversees clinical operations and drives quality care initiatives. As the Vice President of Summit Medical Carolinas, he leads by focusing on expanding the organization’s mission and delivering excellence in healthcare.

Dr. Patel likes to stay physically active and fit. In his free time, he enjoys racquetball and hiking. He is also a big fan of movies and music.
